Natasha Velez
Natasha Velez is the visionary Founder of GovLearn Gateway, a training platform built to help small businesses confidently enter and excel in government contracting. With over a decade of experience as a federal proposal manager, capture strategist, and CFO to multiple government contractors, Natasha has led the pursuit and award of over $900 million in contracts across agencies like SOCOM, Space Force, and the Department of Defense.
As a CF APMP-certified proposal expert and member of the Forbes Finance Council, Natasha is known for bridging strategy with execution — empowering entrepreneurs to turn complex compliance into real revenue. Her leadership at NVS Strategic Solutions and as the founder of GovCon Queens has helped hundreds of businesses, particularly underserved and underrepresented founders, find their path in the federal marketplace.

Tammy’s background spans both the public and private sectors, where she’s helped organizations identify, pursue, and win federal opportunities by building capacity, leveraging certifications, and navigating procurement systems with confidence. She is known for her hands-on leadership style, authentic relationship-building, and passion for mentoring emerging contractors.
